Privacy policy
Last updated
PetCoverPro is an editorial website. We do not require you to create an account, we do not run a quote engine, and we do not collect personal details in order to refer you to an insurer.
What we collect directly
If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply and we keep correspondence for the period needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which content is useful. The analytics provider does not set behavioural advertising cookies and does not build a cross-site profile of you. We do not use behavioural advertising cookies on this site.
By using this site you consent to anonymous analytics being collected. The first time you visit, a banner reminds you and offers a Reject button. If you choose Reject, no analytics is collected for that visit, and the banner appears again on your next visit so you can decide afresh. If you choose Accept (or simply close the banner), your acceptance is remembered on this device and the banner does not appear again. You can change your choice at any time using the button below, or by clearing site data in your browser.
Affiliate tracking
When you click through to an insurer from our site, the affiliate network the insurer uses (for example AWIN or Optimise Media) may set a tracking cookie so that any policy you go on to buy can be attributed to PetCoverPro for commission purposes. These cookies are set by the third party, not by us, and are governed by the third party's own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The simplest route is to email privacy@petcoverpro.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are not satisfied with how we handle your data.

This is a launch-stage notice. It will be expanded into the long-form policy required for active acquisition marketing before any paid acquisition begins.
