PetCoverPro publishes under a single editorial byline. Brand reviews, comparisons and buying guides are written and edited by the in-house editorial team. Medical and clinical content is reviewed by Dr Avron Taitz, BVSc before publication.
PetCoverPro editorial team
The editorial team is responsible for the day-to-day work of researching insurers, reading policy wordings, drafting reviews and updating pages on a rolling schedule. The team writes from a UK consumer perspective and uses primary sources wherever possible: insurer policy documents, regulatory filings, ABI guidance, RCVS guidance, gov.uk publications and verified customer reports.
Editorial decisions, including which brand sits at the top of a category and how scores are weighted, are made by the editorial team independently of any commercial agreement. Read the editorial policy for the full set of rules we operate under.

Dr Taitz is a practising small-animal vet with decades of clinical experience. He reviews our editorial guidance to make sure what we publish about cover, claims and conditions reflects what actually happens in consult rooms.
